Saint Patrick’s Day

Daniel, our French bell ringer has a passion for all things Irish. He turned up this morning in his full regalia, including his Guinness hat! We enjoyed our evening, watching the rugby with friends last night and the thrilling finish to the England versus France game. I was playing tennis against my French friend Bernard this afternoon. He was quite chipper about the rugby result, so I told him that the tennis would be an opportunity for revenge for the motherland. I have the same ranking as him, but he has always been a better player than me. However, I must have improved as I beat him for the second time this week. English honour was restored!
