Incredibish

We've got everything... somewhere.

A day trip out to the Cotswold Motor and Toy Museum, and museum of the old style with everything to do with heritage motoring tossed into about eight or ten rooms... cars, bikes, prams, models and all sorts of petrol pumps and oil guns! A petrol heads day out, if you like.

It's in the lovely biscuit tin lid Cotswold town of Bourton on the Water, and at this time of year it's still relatively free of tourist coaches and crowds. You can even get a table in the cafe. We had a wander around after the museum visit, marvelling at the old honey gold brick of the historic houses and the new honey gold brick of the infill builds.

The museum is owned and operated by the Boundless organisation, which used to be the Civil Service Motoring Association. If you are in membership (and even if you're not) it's a decent day visit. The picture of the style of bike shop I used to frequent when I first began motorcycling, and a New Imperial from around 1930.
