Yet another fine day

Winter is definitively over I think. And surprisingly, we still have a couple of logs left -- I was convinced I was going to run out in mid-February. Some wisteria is out (not ours), the wild allium is starting to flower, and with a couple of days' warmth the vines are sprouting green leaves everywhere now.

I thought my loaf was over-proved when I got it out of the fridge this morning, but while its outer appearance wouldn't win any prizes, the crumb was perfect, and it made excellent ham and tomato sandwiches for lunch. And this evening it was more carb-loading ... pizza night! In between, a short blip walk on my usual short circuit, and research for our next trip.
