Butterfly

I find butterflies a relatively uncooperative photographic subject, mainly because they don't seem to know where they are going, and are very unpredictable. Instead the butterfly in this photograph was very cooperative and remained still for the duration of the session.

The weather was wet, cold and windy. I I did not feel like exposing myself to the weather for too long. As in the past when the weather is inclement adjourned a garden centre for my photo today.
