Violet

Having been into work Mon-Thurs this week it was nice to have a chance to get back out on my local patch.

The violets (probably Dog Violet) on Ladderbanks Lane are coming along nicely, as are other spring flora. And a couple more butterflies to add to the annual tally: two Comma together in the meadow behind Tong Park cricket pitch.

After a fairly demanding week, I’m now in semi-wind down mode for Easter. Still a few more days at work, but the chance for a decent break is nearly here.
