Old trees

It has been another perfect day for hiking along the goat tracks today with lush green and wild flowers everywhere. We made the most of the dry warm weather as rain is forecast for next week, always welcome here!

There are frequently dead or dying almond trees, usually quite old ones, which have suffered from the past two years of drought and heat waves. They can look quite dramatic and venerable (see the extra).
