Flying!

Wall to wall sunshine today but still that very cool wind. Tgat didn’t stop Jude and Eda having a great time on their bikes on this circuit set out by Daddy on their terrace. Jude has really got the hang of her balance bike and it’s feet off where ever she can like here going over the see saw. Soon she will get Eda’s pedal bike, when they’ve got the hang of a balance bike they rarely need stabilisers when the progress to pedals.

John was back from Dartmoor late morning, they had every kind of weather thrown at them yesterday plus bogs to contend with. I have to say John was walking better than friend and neighbour Jeff! Well done to them both.

Grace took Eda to a joint party this afternoon for three boys at her school. I was pleased she chose to wear my cardigan.
She spent the morning making personal cards for them and a friendship bracelet with Lego for her special class mate friend. It was a ‘welly’ party. She’s just got back and has been in a real tractor ride. Grace is now off for a singng lesson for her show after an Easter.

We should be well on our way home by now, we usually leave after lunch,  but Chris was sick when he got up this morning and has spent the rest of the day in bed. It’s a long journey if you’re not feeling too good and frankly I don’t want to do motorway driving anymore. So we’ll stay another night and take our time getting home tomorrow assuming he’s ok.
Just needed to let our neighbours know as they are looking after the cat.

Not the best end to what has otherwise been a lovely break
