WITH A SONG IN MY HEART

The Pirates! The Pirates! Oh Despair!

Well! What a weekend!
We have had the best time and so did the audiences.
Three performances and even with some fluffing of words they were brilliant.
There was so much fun and laughter.
Hardly any of us had any experience of acting but Sue - our director must have known we had it in us.
The thing I find so funny is that before we joined the choir we didn’t know most of these people except to say hello to in passing, but there we were in the dressing room changing our costumes and stripping down to our undies - men and women. I’ve never seen so many men in their underpants since I was nurse! ;-D))
Young handsome guy with the long hair is Pete the pianist who accompanied us all the way through.
By the way Frank painted the ship on the backdrop.
We have come down to earth today but can’t stop singing the songs and coming out with phrases from the show - particularly the title of this Blip.
Our friends Pat and Steve from Dumfries popped in for a cuppa on their way home from their weekend in Skipton. It was lovely to have a good old natter with them and Pat gave me some advice for the garden - she is an expert. Steve gave Frank advice on art as he is a brilliant artist.

Now we are having an evening of chillin’ in front of the telly.
Believe it or not we’ve just been watching Pirates of Penzance on Youtube!
However now we are going to watch another episode of Finders Keepers.
Sorry for the lack of comments, I’ve just been too busy.

Goodnight Blippers and thanks for the lovely comments, stars and hearts this week.
;-)X
