Last of the cream teas

After a lunch with friends and their extended family over the hill the four of us returned to our hamlet where there was a local history day with an exhibition in the church and cream teas on the manor lawn behind. Having missed yesterday's fare up in the village, this was a real treat although on already satisfied stomachs. Just sitting in the garden under the trees on another baking hot day and looking at the view was next to heaven.
