I noticed the increased activity by the blue tits a few days ago and my neighbour had put up a couple of nestboxes facing our house last winter. At least one of them looks like it is being used by a pair of these little birds. 
They have been in and out all afternoon and both male and female have been in. Not that I can tell the difference between the two, but I've seen one on the outside like this and then as soon as it flew off, another bird emerged from the box, so unless it's another bird of the same sex, then I'm pretty sure they're a pair. Hopefully they will make their home there and I might get to see some little fledglings later in the season.
