A day in the life

All morning was spent for breakfast and running through todays rehearsals with our "Hommage"-group. It's a year since we had our first concert in Kalmar about Sven-Bertil Taube, a musician, actor and singer who had passed away earlier that year. We thought we would do more concerts during the autumn and summer but apparently no one thought it was relevant or it was too expensive perhaps. We are five people and that does make a larger bill. In the afternoon we had three hours at our disposal to go through the program and make small changes here and there. Most things "sit" even if it was a year ago since we played it. In mid April we do our concert on Öland and it looks like it could be the last with this show. We do a couple more run-throughs before the actual concert.

My focus was on playing and not blipping so todays foto will have no real relevance to the events of the day. The neighbour has two cats, both of them roam my garden and around the house looking for birds and other food. This one has never come close but has recently sat down close but with a distance to look at me and to get a good overview of the hunting grounds. It's never been this close before, let's see how this friendship develops.
