Pastoral

We dared a slow and gentle perambulation around the village between heavy downpours, safe in the knowledge there couldn't one any more wet up there. We were of course wrong, but we'd dressed for it.

At the top of the hill, or as we now call it, the waterfall, the sheep and new lambs were discovering the absorptive nature of wool, mainly without complaint. A few were grumpily having a bit of a bah! about it...

We're a couple of days from moving into British Summer Time (BST) but I note in Scientific American that climate change is causing us to think about taking a second off the year... can we take it off winter please?
