Storm Tossed Tulips

I made use of these tulips a couple of weeks back, when they were just emerging. 

It was raining then, too. We're settling into a perfect English springtime and so far today we've had gorgeous sunshine, horizontal rain and hailstones... 

I think if we'd have had snow rather than constant rain over the winter we'd be feeling a lot better about the weather overall... as it is, it's becoming tiresome and impacting our plans for fun... although in fairness our plans might have taken a turn anyway even as I upload this blip...

Anyway, the hailstones have had an impact on the tulips. The post-rain sunshine captured them beautifully, and highlighted the water drops.
