Following on from yesterdays shot of the Great Tit in the Osmanthus I thought I would blip the flowers while they are still here.

The Osmanthus is an evergreen shrub that flowers in spring.  The flowers are fragrant so the standard advice is plant near a path so you can enjoy the scent.  The references say "sometimes reaches 6ft but usually a lower more compact bush".  Ours clearly hasn't read the book as it is nearer 8ft.
