Sunshine in the wood

The sun came out while we were walking in Shell bay wood this morning, so when we got home I got changed and went out to work in the garden.
I dug up lots more Snow in summer, then cut back the cotoneaster on the back of the house. It was hard going. Filled a huge rubble sack. Gary will take it away and put it on a bonfire.
Then I weeded the raised bed in the front garden. Lastly I planted a Deutzia, Saracocca, Physocarpus, Adromeda, Viburnum and Magnolia. I feel super satisfied with the work I’ve done this week. I think a quiet weekend is the way to go now.
