Through the window

Thursday
We both slept well, after last nights lack of sleep on the plane, and didn’t get up till about 10 am. After our late breakfast we went up to Roger’s Dad again and sat and chatted in his lovely conservatory, enjoying looking out at his garden, which Janet takes care of, as well as her own quite large garden. At lunchtime, Roger and I went out with Janet and John for pizza - Bernard doesn’t like pizza! - which would be our main meal of the day, as in the evening we will be out at church at Maundy Thursday service. In the afternoon, Roger and Janet were putting up a couple of bird boxes for Bernard, which they just managed to do before it started to pour it down with rain, and then trying to fix his shower door which is giving him problems. Unfortunately they weren’t successful there and they had to come back and get on the internet to see if he could get any advice. While they were doing that, I sat in Janet’s lovely garden room, as they call it, looking out at their beautiful garden, while doing my Duolingo, catching up on a couple of blips, and doing some knitting.
