A visit to the Art Museum

The day dawned frosty once again, and it remained cooler than yesterday, but we had some sun in the morning and no rain. Rather than going to our usual Tuesday outing of Music Live at Lunch, we instead opted for a different form of culture, and visited the Cincinnati Art Museum, to see the exhibit on Georgia O’Keeffe, Photographer. We think of her mainly for her magnificent flower paintings, such as my thumbnail picture, or her paintings of the South west where she lived much of her life in New Mexico. However, she was also apparently a keen and accomplished photographer for her time. It wasn’t a large exhibition, but interesting nonetheless, and besides the often small black and white photographs, included four or five of her paintings.
