Essentials

Over lunch today with Mum and Dad I mentioned that I'd found another limited edition Marmite.  Well, here it is!  It's in support of the Elton John AIDS Foundation.  It's also next in line to eat, because I've just finished my jar of Lidl's finest "yeast extract".  One day I will do a top 5 or top 10 of all the different kinds.

They (possibly Dick and Nick Crane but I might be wrong) say the first rule of touring is to pack what you need, then unpack it all, throw half of it away and re-pack with what's left.  Since this is a motorbike tour and I have a hundred horsepowers to play with, I am apparently ignoring this rule.
