Alone

In the morning, A left for a trip to London with daughter K to celebrate K's 21st next week, and I went into work to be available to my students. There was one waiting for me when I arrived, and I had a steady stream all day. Once that dried up, I typeset my analysis of the problem that PhD student J needs to solve. In doing this I realised that the approach that I'd thought promising earlier in the week was useless. It's a bad time in their studies for an issue like this to emerge.

Back home, I was shattered, so had a nap. After that, I walked Django and cooked for myself before watching "Rush", one of my favourite films.
