Bust

I had one of my occasional trips to the Big City today to meet a friend for lunch. I chose a good day - the heavens had opened again so being stuck at home would have been a bummer.

We met at Montpeliers (Extra) in genteel Bruntsfield and enjoyed both the food and company.

I arrived in the city a little early for lunch so I spent an hour in the Scottish National Portrait Gallery and got my Blip there - Somhairle MacGill-Eain/Sorley MacLean who was a Gaelic language poet of considerable talent.

The other Extra is the entrance hall of the gallery building - impressive in itself.
