A damp, grey day today that brightened at dusk. I did some mending for my daughter and grand-daughter, from sewing on buttons to fixing wings! Spent far too long playing Backgammon on my phone after downloading an app yesterday. Not as much fun as playing with my son on a physical board, but I should be up to the challenge next time we meet! Did empty all the bins and fed the recycling dustbins, but otherwise a rest-day. Mr PP bought me some dry cough linctus while he was ferrying Mrs B to the osteopath, so hoping for a quieter night tonight. Watched this little chaffinch through the kitchen window; they're among the less frequent and less numerous of our feathered visitors at the moment.
