Getting up promptly to walk Django in the rain and low cloud before going into work for 10:00 wasn't the best start to the day. However, sitting through 15 student presentations in five hours wasn't as bad as I'd feared. Not only was colleague K with me, but there were some good ones. Although not technically the best, it was obvious that one group had really enjoyed using their imagination to create and explore extensions to the study. It's also been interesting to see the quality of some of the graphics that have been created: no longer using Photoshop, I guess, but AI.

Afterwards, I caught up on some admin before walking over to Prestonfield, to join A and daughter K at a flat that she fancied buying. It was very nice, but she's not yet talked to a solicitor, and the closing date is Friday, so I doubt whether there will be time to put in an offer. Afterwards the three of us went to a nearby bar for a drink and a chat about the flat and buying strategies.

Back home, I extended the remains of last night's venison casserole with a tomato sauce and added pasta whilst A walked Django in the rain that's hardly stopped all day.
