Where the River Mira Meets the Sea

Last minute decision to come overnight to Milfontes, which has a lot of good memories for us, but haven't been in ages, and really wanted a break.

First time when we walked the Rota Vicentina nine years ago and cheated by getting a ferry across the river, another time while still searching for where to settle, from the bridge with Julia, meeting Jan and Keith here for fish dinner, and a welcome break here. Know we came here with the family before we moved to Portugal, but must have blipped something else that day. Nope, it's here!

- Mike being willing to drive all this way, 2.5 hours
