Birds and roofs

Yet another grey day, although I managed to get out for a walk when it was merely perishingly cold, but not actually wet. I went down to the Links for the first time in ages. The playing fields down there are just swamp after all the rain. There was a man practicing his golf shots. Good luck with that! I came back across the railway line through the station and saw that there is a new "Scandi" looking house being built on a plot that had been for sale for quite some time. Must take a closer look at some point.

Home to call a relatively early halt to the working day, and then to make a spaghetti carbonara. Again the first time in ages. Later we went round to N and A to admire Elmer's improved behaviour. He's a changed doggie. And drink red wine.

Anyway, I thought a blip of the skyline of Tain, with the Parish Church, the Courthouse and the Picturehouse (currently not in use) all on show, was better than yet more soggy plants.

Must put my out of office on for a week.
