B Is For Brandy. W Is For Whisky.

First day of Guiding at Hill of Tarvit Mansionhouse. We are all pleased to see each other again and suddenly I seem to have been given the Unofficial Title of ‘Knowing Everything About The Property’.

Not true, although I  have been a Guide for 15 years.
The presentation of the House has changed, following considerable investigation into papers of  The Sharp Family.

Today’s Photos feature the Dining Room. The Dining Table has been extended and set for lunch for six people. All of the silver is now on display and the two extra photographs show more of the silver.

We have now been given augmented notes and photographs for the House and Contents.

The House looks lived in again.

Pat was unable to attend but I photographed many of the changes in the house and they met with her approval. Pat is the expert on the French Furniture Collection.

Returning to the main Blipfoto the Tantalus may have been unlocked, however, the bottles are empty.

The House is well worth a visit, judging from the compliments paid by today’s visitors.

And, strangely enough, I apparently do know a lot. It is surprising how easily questions are answered and facts confirmed.
