Skunk Cabbage

Not a great name for an attractive plant. It emits a foul odour that attracts scavenging beetles and flies, which pollinate the plant.
This one is at the side of the dam/pond at Kellie Castle.
We drove to Kellie Castle and had a walk there and along the road to Carnbee this morning. We were just getting back to the car when the rain started.
After lunchtime we picked Hannah up from her grandparents, and just returned her this evening.

What’s been Good about my Day:
A dry walk.
An afternoon of shell painting, and every game Hannah could find, or think of, to play.
Seeing Geordie so overjoyed to spend time with Hannah.
Geordie and I being happily exhausted after a full-on afternoon. (I don’t think Hannah stopped talking long enough to catch her breath).
