Chaffinch and blue sky

An irresistible combination. What a pleasure to see the sun this morning. Although it's still breezy it really isn't cold. Making the most of that I went for a walk with Flora then I'm going for another with a friend. 

The Science Festival yesterday was great fun. The five year old took a bit of time to warm up but her big sister is so solicitous. The trains worked and I had an early night. 

Thanks for all the kind comments on the cowslip. I'm afraid I didn't do much in the way of blip yesterday. Today will be much the same as it's my turn to host the monthly evening meeting of local pals. 

I need to get myself galvanised.
