Stuff and Nonsense

Green Veined White #1

Hurrah, a dry morning at last! We decided on a walk around Hale, along the headland and past the lighthouse. It was very pleasant and the song from the skylarks was delightful. We were really after the Ring Ouzels that had been seen yesterday and were successful in that we saw one in the distance before it popped back into the hedgerow. No pictures though.
It was nice to see the butterflies starting to enjoy the warmth of the spring. We saw a couple of whites, this one being a green veined white, and about 6 Red Admirals.
