Fairies At The Bottom Of My Garden

I spotted and photographed a female green longhorn moth and a female yellow-banded longhorn moth on our early walk round the garden. The forecast was for warm sunny weather and I was hopeful that some some males would turn up. In the end only one male green longhorn appeared but I enjoyed photographing him fluttering round the hawthorn buds. 

Quite a good day for bug hunting. I got an early St Mark's fly, my first Misumena crab spider of the season and a lovely Nomada bee. I found some box bug egg cases and photographed a pair mating.
