Blip?!? I've Got Your Blip Right Here!

We blippers, we've probably all had this experience.

First. There are those days when the weather is lovely, and the light is gorgeous, and every photo is full of magic. Those are the days when the pictures fight among themselves to see which one gets to win the blip. We fuss and we stew over them but secretly, in our heart of hearts, we smile to ourselves to have to choose among such riches.

But then. There are the other days. The days when it's dreary and rainy all day. (Again.) When it's about 110% humidity out, and sticky, and icky, and all rain-foresty. And the little birds are gone from the nest. And the hummingbird hasn't been by in weeks if not months. And the bunny won't show its face in the meadow. And nothing fun and new is blooming in the yard. Hmmph.

This was such a day.

And then - AHA! A Tabby lying snoozing on the bed! Looking cute! What a blipportunity! Shall we photograph him? Let's just . . . quietly . . . tiptoe around . . . so we can . . .

Oh. Sorry, Tabby. Didn't mean to wake you there, buddy. Oh, all right. I'm sorry I disturbed you. Just . . . one . . . little picture? Pretty please? And then you can go back to sleep . . .

The soundtrack: Motley Crue, Don't Go Away Mad (Just Go Away).
