Hendon beach

The wind was from inland today, so the sea was more placid than last time I was at Hendon beach.

We took the bus to the town then walked down the King Charles III England Coast Path from Sunderland to Seaham. The first part was on the road because you can’t walk through the docks, then along the cliff tops, through mud and puddled grass.

We had a rest at Seaham Tommy, looking out to sea.

After that, we turned into the westerly wind out of Seaham up a never-ending hill and out into the countryside, and back to base camp.
