Trees in Spring

I was up at 6:00 to get our food packed. Hubby put everything in the SUV. We were on the road at 8:45. Our BIL called before we left with instructions on how to avoid the flooding on our regular route. We will stay on the Interstate in Pennsylvania and go north of our destination where we are away from the rivers and creeks that have overflowed. This is a totally new route for us. It has rained for most of the trip and the winds are gusty. I decided to photograph trees along the way. There were so many colors and shades. It is just hard to get a decent sharp photo at 70 mph. My sister and BIL left an hour earlier than us and provided updates on the conditions. They are at the farm now; said the last road we have to travel on is dicey, very washed out. Always an adventure with this crew. We stopped for lunch at a diner and could only eat half of the tasty sub. We picked up a treat for our BIL at the bakery we always stop at. We hope to get to the farm by 7:00. It’s time for another weekend. Hope yours is sunny. Stay safe. Thanks for stopping by. “Life stands before me like an eternal spring with new and brilliant clothes.” –Carl Friedrich Gauss
