Thinking

Temperature +5. Overcast, some raining. Moderate wind from southwest.

At home.
By the PC and thinking a lot. The theme of the day, apartment possibilities.

But the picture of the day is my Venus flytrap (Dionaea muscipula), see Feb 23th. It consumes very much water, but also has grown a lot. Now it's making a flower, but very very slowly. I've read that it's better to cut off so that it doesn't consume the plant's energy. I'd just like to see it open first.

About the plant's eating. For you to know it seems it doesn't react to those tiny flies in flowers. Mr S put a fly walking in the plant's "mouth", but nothing happened... except that the fly flew away. I don't know how long this can live without food.
