A swing with a view

Of course a grandchild hoves into view and we have more than enough to chose from for Blip.  I love how the new cows respond to anything vaguely interesting on the human side of the fence.  Ivy on her swing was mesmerising both ways.  She swung murmuring ‘moo moo’.  They stood and stared.  She is three now (with Downs) but speech is slow although she communicates and signs full tilt.  She’s also so active and funny and adorable.  Her little brother is so much quieter and in awe of her.

We went from the station, bloody Guildford pick up which was complicated to arrange, to see Mum or GG as she’s known.  Ivy signs GG very expertly and it is definitely different to Granny. .  Mum loved seeing them and I have a lot of out of focus pics of them on her lap.

Home for lunch and then in the afternoon we went to the village playground.   I was glad I’d cooked yesterday so didn’t have to spend hours in the kitchen and when the babies had gone to bed, exhausted!, we sat down to lamb tagine and couscous.  Very delicious.
