Hepatica

I went for a walk at the Public Gardens this afternoon and took many photos there. I treated myself today and I have a new toy. I bought a 18 - 135 mm lens for my camera, so I wanted to go somewhere to play with that.

After I came home, I had a walk around my own garden and spotted this heptatica in bloom. I planted it last year, so I am happy to see it survived the winter. The spots on it are dirt from rain splashing mud onto it.

Rain in the forecast for tomorrow. They keep changing the amount and when we are going to get it. I will decide in the morning if we are working.
