If you can't beat them...

Snakeshead Fritillary ( Fritillaria meleagris )

Sunday is almost always a quiet day round home  and today was no exception.  The afternoon was interesting as we had a session with the studio lights in the house.

Looking for a blip I went directly to the clump of Fritillary I can see from the window.  we planted a few decades ago.  they were all the standard pinky purple.  Over the years whites have appeared so now half are white.  The other interesting point is over the years they have "walked".  The clump is now about a yard from where it started and much bigger.
