Hound Dog

A real dog for today’s blip!
I went through to Barrow this morning to see Stu and, for once, it wasn’t raining so we took Ken out for a walk round the block before retiring to the music room for a bit of practice.
We ran through most of what we’ve been working on, and identified what needs a bit more polishing. I brought my newly finished bass and have to admit it felt, and sounded, pretty good. Might need a teensy bit more tweaking but, as it seemed to be still settling down as we played, I’ll reserve judgement for now.
We had our usual coffee at Costa and then called in to R&T to say hello. Thought we’d got away with not being tempted into buying anything, but Stu spotted a Marshall amp on the way out that he reckoned would be ideal for our gigs. Vaughan was only too happy to work out a deal for him!
