River of Flowers

Thursday: Rainy Afternoon

At 7 o’clock this morning the sky was blue, the sun was out, temperature a chilly 2°C … and the pair of Bullfinches from a couple of days back were munching their way through the Cherry blossom!!

About an hour of gardening mid-morning planting out: Crimson flowered Broad Beans, Asparagus peas, Rocket, Lambs’ lettuce and some Agrostemma (Corn Cockle) - https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/3249962 - all in the deep bed behind the garage.

By lunchtime we had heavy grey sky and the wind had picked up :-(

Rain arrived soon after, very handy for watering in my seedlings planted this morning. Wind dropped and Rain continued all evening …

This is the view from our living room window - still colourful on a very wet day :-))

Loads of love and hugs to all my family / Cariad Mawr XXXX XXX XX
