Blossom at Starbank Park

We wanted to show Mummy hazelh the spring blossom. Starbank Park seemed to be the place to do this. Part of our reasoning was that we could add a visit to the park to our trip to Ocean Terminal for Mummy hazelh's latest Covid vaccination.

The park, as hoped, was looking fabulous. We made a little tour with the wheelchair then sat on a bench in the sunshine for a while. Mr hazelh identified birdsong for us using the Merlin app.

The trip was made complete with lunch at PizzaExpress between the vaccination and park visit. The restaurant at Ocean Terminal was not terribly busy with just three parties eating there over lunchtime. However, since one of the tables was populated by seven boys and two adults, you could hardly call it quiet. We guessed that it was probably the birthday of one of the boys. They looked aged about 7 or 8.

More mundane activities of the day include baking a lemon drizzle cake and defrosting the kitchen freezer.

Exercise today: small amount of walking (7,073 steps).
