An ordinary life....

Homeward bound...

All good things must come to an end and as we left Oban just after 10am the sky was blue, the sun was shining and the Sound of Kererra was like a mill pond.

We debated hanging around in Oban for a little while but in the end decided to head home, dump the luggage and go to the golf club for lunch.

The journey home was lovely.  Beautiful scenery and no hold ups.

We were home just after midday.  Alan was happy to see us.  He enjoyed his five days at Cupar.  Walked to the golf club where we had a lovely lunch that negated the need to make dinner this evening.  Result!  :-)

Back to unpack then D contacted R to check what time he was dropping Lola off.  Turns out he thought he had her till Monday.  Our fault, D got the dates wrong when booking.  Not a problem and he dropped her off just after 5pm.  Great excitement!  She was running between D and me bringing us gifts from her toy box, then she disappeared to go and see Alan and Penny.

Relaxing evening to end the holiday.  Crochet, snooze, an episode of Beyond Paradise and a little bit of Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate.  It's the simple things :-)

Some photos from the journey home in extras.
