It’s traditional

Early start but we were all up and out by 3.45am. We collected Susan en route to the airport and had an easy journey to the car park. Didn’t take too long to drop the cases and get through security where the surprisingly long queues moved quickly.

Breakfast of a muffin and Prosecco was just what I needed to wake up properly. The flight went smoothly and landed 20 minutes early. Baggage all arrived quickly and was followed an easy transfer to our hotel. Our rooms weren’t quite ready so we headed down to the beach promenade for some lunch. It was lovely and sunny. so we opted for an outside table.

Back to the hotel where we got into our rooms. We had to ask for an extra bed to be removed to give us a bit more space. Odd to see it as the rooms is only designed to sleep 2! All sorted quickly.

We got unpacked and walked down to a favourite bar of ours for a wee jug of sangria to get us in the holiday spirit. A quick change and we headed out to a newly opened bar fur a pre dinner cocktail. It was a rather trendy venue so we didn’t linger but took ourselves off to the nearby Chinese restaurant for a tasty reasonably priced dinner.

Not too late a night as we were all flagging after our meal.
