Cool start

I was wishing I had worn my gloves for our morning walk as it was very chilly in the shade. There had been a ground frost last night but the day dawned bright with blue sky and I soon warmed up. The primrose seem to be exceptionally prolific this year and I find clumps of them wherever I walk.
J came for coffee and we put the world to rights. She loved the attention that Bertie bestowed upon her as he gave her his special ear lick!
For the first time this year we haven’t lit the wood burning stove in the evening as the house is still warm from today’s sunshine.
