Anzac Morning

Today is very special in Australia and New Zealand as we celebrate Anzac Day.
Unfortunately we couldn't get to the dawn service as had to set up for the Rotary Golf Day which is held each year to raise money for the community.
It was beautifully misty when we got to the course but it soon lifted for a lovely day.

Mr isbi, Graham and Henry played in the Ambrose competition. As they didn't have a fourth person I went around in the cart as well and helped find balls. I am no golfer but can see why they enjoy it, especially on a day like today. For once they all seemed happy with their performance. Extra is Henry preparing to tee off.

The golf was followed by lunch and a fund raising auction. Mr isbi bought 1.75L of gin and I got a new handbag :-)

To finish off there was a small service complete with lone piper and bugler.
