NatureDiary, A new planter

     Safely delivered from Amazon with no damage this lovely planter looks perfect for some of the taller plants I've grown or bought recently.
     I had several taller planters on long legs but due to the ridiculous amount of rain we in the UK had this recent winter most of them failed and many plants were lost.
     The drainage systems failed to work as the soil became sodden and failed to drain, creating containers more like deeply muddy swimming pools drowning the plants.
     This new purchase seems to have a much better drainage system so I'm setting out to try it with some of the new plants pictured here yesterday.
     Advertised as a 'Tomato planter' I'm planning to plant some of my already established taller plants in it, and to plant some smaller plants, such as pansies, in it as well.
If everything goes according to plan I should have a lovely display this summer.
