Nature Diary, Today in the Garden

   A calm morning with a few fluffy white clouds and plenty of sunshine. Can hardly believe we have no rain, but the day is young as I write...
   The 'lawn' as it's formerly been known, and which is  likely to be renamed 'The Grimpen Mire take 2' unless we have some dry, sunny weather, had managed to permit a pretty little group of forgetme-me-nots to survive. 
Nearby, safely existing in a more sheltered spot, one of the faithful, long-lasting Aquilegia plants has skillfully manage to produce it's first flower this year.
