More flowers - this time on the first of my rhododendrons to do so. 

Today has been focused on house and garden with some more tidying of the "cloakroom", soup (and mince) making, and more work in the garden. 

My main source of excitement (aside from rhododendron flower) was spotting a bird with unusual markings perched on an overhead wire and realising it was a goldfinch thanks to Merlin.
