Today's the day ...................... to track

I'm very pleased to tell you that Will has reached his final destination - which you may or may not have guessed was - Fair Isle.

The final leg wasn't without its problems, because as I hinted yesterday, the original plan was to fly from Shetland to Fair Isle but that proved impossible.  So today, they set off on the Good Shepherd IV  instead - and while the sea conditions were not super rough, they were bad enough to cause a bit of sea sickness for some on board.  The main thing is though, he made it - and he will have the pleasure of getting to know this far flung part of Scotland a bit better over the next few days.

I was able to track his progress today which I always think is quite amazing - particularly as this time, he was in the middle of the sea?!  The above was his position at 13.16 hrs - well on the way to Fair Isle. I imagine he'll be painting whenever he can, so if you want to follow his progress, you'll find them here ......................
