Trento

I blame the Giro d’Italia.  My decision to go last year was as a result of watching the dramatic Italian professional cycling race through the scenery of Trentino, one of the three Tyrolean provinces. 

I went further north last year and this year I’ve been touring the “secret lakes” of North Italy. On the motorway we zoomed past the city of Trento last year. This year we had a day learning more about its history, its treasures and its beauty.

Result ? I want to go back and find out more. 

It was perfect for people watching and I had by far the best meal of the trip.
