Home safely and no train delays this morning.

Sad news though. Yesterday’s swan didn’t make it. Apparently swans on the line is not such a rare occurrence. At least one wildlife charity provides training to train companies. Yesterday, the solitary swan was frightened as an operations manager approached. He took flight and went into the overhead cables. 

Back in my garden, I noticed that the established peony bud has opened. Still no sign of blooms on the newer ones.
