Pond life

After our busy day yesterday, today  I had a quiet one, spent  mostly at home. Meanwhile, Martin went on a course to learn how to use a scythe!
I was studying the tadpoles in our pond, which now have  back legs, when I realised I was also being scrutinised - by two frogs - this being the larger one.

This evening there was a meeting of the Winchester Cafe Scientifique where the talk by Prof Klaus Ebmeier, was about dementia and whether it can be prevented by self improvement. The simple answer is no, although keeping blood pressure under control and being physically fit will help.
It was a well attended talk with lots of questions afterwards, not surprising as most of the audience were aged over 65.
